Yung D3mz headed for SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas.

Ghanaian vocalist, record producer, and songwriter Yung D3mz on the 26th of January, 2022 got announced as one of the artistes headlining the SXSW Music festival happening on March 14-20 this year.

The SXSW Music Festival takes place every year in Austin, Texas to bring together artists, industry professionals, and music lovers from around the world to make connections, elevate their careers, and celebrate the magic of live music – from legendary performers to the most exciting new talent. The producer and artiste joins the likes of Ghanaian recording and performing artist E.L and others from the past, to make it unto the SXSW platform from Ghana.

Yung D3mz in recent times has been recognized for his Afro-fusion sound of combining western R&B and pop elements with African soundscapes to produce records for artistes like Kwesi Arthur, Gyakie, M.anifest, Adekunle Gold, and others. He started releasing his own music in 2019 with “Susupon,” and has gone on to drop other singles and two EPs. Following the success of his solo releases, he held his first show in Accra last year November.
