OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR KAY-ARA – MPAEBO.

Ghanaian rapper and entrepreneur Kay-Ara, presents the official video of “Mpaebo,” a single off his 2021 released album “For Those in the Middle.”

The song, written somewhere in 2017, highlights how one’s self identity influences their decision making process. Because of this, the rapper and his team decided to shoot a video to serve as a visual representation of the current mental health crisis in Ghana. It tells a story from the perspective of someone with a mental health disorder and how they tend to see the world.

The video was shot entirely in the Volta Region of Ghana, in a town with a nice waterfront and a fishing community called Anyanui.

You can check out the video on YouTube now.
