Marince Omario tells a story of love, fear and change with an imagery of Ghanaian burial culture.

Marince Omario is one of the exciting new crop of music artistes coming out of Ghana. He constantly shows how he’s charting his own course in this ever-changing music landscape.  One way he does this is through his exceptional storytelling; either through his lyrics or visuals.

Just about a week ago, he outdoored the short film for ‘Gbonyo Party,’ which is off his 2020 released EP ‘Tsotsoo.’ Directed by famed Ghanaian film Director Andy Madjitey, the film has several innuendos of the Ghanaian burial culture. This served as imagery for love, betrayal, fear, death, mourning and change.

Set in the coastal town of Senya Braku in the Central Region of Ghana, Marince describes this film as, “a complete labour of love that was facilitated by love and favours.”
