S3fa lands Sony Music Publishing Deal.

Black Avenue Music signee S3fa, just got announced as the newest member of the Sony Music Publishing, South Africa family.

What this deal means is that, S3fa is going to assign some part of the ownership of her songs to Sony Music in exchange for a share of the royalties received by them for exploitation of her songs. Sony Music can also provide co-writing opportunities based on industry relationships and pitching opportunities by members of the company’s staff, known as song pluggers. She can also receive advance payments to facilitate high quality recordings of her subsequent releases.

This is indeed very great news, and we look forward to seeing what this relationship would bring about.
