Medikal’s song featured in NBA halftime show.
Ghanaian rapper Medikal’s “Accra” song, was featured in a dance routine performed during the NBA halftime show of the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets game on 12 February, 2022.
The performance saw 8 women deliver a high energy choreography to the 2021 released single. This definitely means a lot to Medikal and his team, as he stood the chance of having his music discovered by over 1.3 million people at the time; and also enjoyed a placement on broadcast channel ABC, cable networks ESPN and TNT.
Medikal joins the likes of M.anifest as Ghanaian artistes to have their music featured in the NBA. We look forward to more exciting milestones.
