The 5th edition of the Soundcity MVP Awards was held on Saturday 11th February, 2023 at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos.

The annual awards event, rewards hard work in the music industry for the year under review. The event was graced by many high-profile artistes and music industry professionals across the African continent, and saw performances from Black Sherif, Blaqbonez and others.
