Fast-rising Ghanaian musicians Fii Cools and Kobby Jhay have finally released their much anticipated single ‘KOLO.’
They perfectly capture the frustrations of a one-sided love affair on the new song.
Kobby Jhay accentuates the song’s theme in the opening seconds with a mellow verse. And with silky vocals narrating the ordeal in Twi, Fii Cools takes the listener on a journey into the world of a frustrated lover crying out for reciprocated energy.
Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Fii Cools said a friend’s relationship challenges was the motivation.
“He was going through a series of problems with girls, and I write my songs based on what I see. So, this song is basically about the experience of another person,” the singer told this source.
