UPDATE on the Black Sherif and management beef.

Three days ago, reports started emerging that there was a rift between Black Sherif and his “management,” leading to a series of events we explained in our blog post on 23rd February, 2022. Since the issue became public, Black Sherif or anyone from his known team has not come out to address the rumors, but according to Ghanaian blogger Zionfelix, he has spoken to a source close to Black Sherif to obtain clarity on the issue.

From what has been gathered so far, this said “management” came in after Black Sherif’s viral moment, but it’s unclear if it was after the “first sermon” on “second sermon.” This person came in solely as an “investor” to help push Black Sherif’s career to the next level, but according to the source, he started making demands for Black Sherif to detach himself from his “day one boys” because he felt they were being a distraction, and it appears that’s what the Ghanaian rapper didn’t want to agree to. He was presented with a choice to choose between the two and he decided to choose his “day one boys.” The source also alleged that, some of the things reported on earlier in the week about what this alleged “investor” did for Black Sherif is false. From the look of things, it appears there’s a smear campaign against the rapper, but since both direct parties haven’t made any comment yet, we can’t conclude.
