The Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer Tems, this week made an appearance in the Reebok “LIFE IS NOT A SPECTATOR SPORT” campaign. The campaign seeks to inspire others to, “commit to a life where you don’t sit by and watch. Join in with everything that approaches and rise.”

Tems, who is just reeling off an amazing 2021 seems to embody that. From featuring on the number 1 Afrobeats song of 2021 alongside Wizkid and Justin Beiber, to appearing on Drake’s album, to cosigns from Adele and Rihanna and releasing her own album, that’s makes her a perfect fit for the campaign. According to her, she believes in the rebellion of being one’s self over everything, and is here to create and show the world her voice.
