Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos” breaks 2-decade old record.

On Wednesday, the Grammy award winning superstar’s “Made in Lagos” officially became the longest charting African album of all-time on the Billboard World Albums chart, spending an unbelievable 67 weeks so far on the international chart.

The record was formerly held by Cape Verde’s legendary singer and also Grammy winner Cesaria Evora for her 1995 eponymous album, which spent 66 weeks on the chart. A record that stood for 26 years.
